Running a busy life, we sometimes forget to dedicate time to ourselves. Thankfully, the entire month of October is there to remind us that we are due for some “me time.“
I’m talking about Spa and Wellness month, a month dedicated to all things pampering happening throughout the Palm Beaches. The beauty of participating is that you are also supporting the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All the participating businesses will be donating a portion of their proceeds to this great cause (all the participating spas are listed here).
Now, let’s talk about my experience at Kaffee’s Garden Spa. But, first, let me tell you a little about this lovely place and why you will really enjoy it there.
Kaffee’s Garden Spa was founded in 1998 and is located at 4100 South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach, Florida. This little gem was voted one of the Top 10 Best Spas in Palm Beach County and has been providing quality treatments for 20 years.
Luckily for me, I was able to experience their serene and welcoming atmosphere in the attempt to document and give you all a little slice of Spa October My job is so hard, I know 😉 Their very kind and professional staff treated me like a princess and spoiled me so much.
My Garden Ritual began with a detoxifying Pink Himalayan Salt foot Soak performed by the lovely and caring Samantha. The soak included magnesium, potassium, and sulfate minerals which help in easing aches, and an aloe and enzyme foot mask with warm compresses finished with a hydrating lavender lotion. I felt so relaxed during the foot soak while drinking a delicious pink lemonade.
The second part of my ritual consisted of a body massage with warm pink Himalayan stones in their beautiful dry salt therapy room. The massage was performed by the lovely Tanya. She has the touch of an angel. I’ve never felt so relaxed and comfortable during a massage. The experience was enhanced with dry salt therapy. This therapy is great for detoxing your lungs and skin. Salt therapy is know for preventing the common cold and flue, alleviating stress, slowing down the aging process, increasing overall wellness, and helping you sleep better.
Last but not least, I had a customized facial by Kaffee herself. Lately, I’ve been dealing with some skin issues, and the knowledgeable Kaffee examined my skin and gave me really great advice on how to care for it. I wasn’t exfoliating enough and, after having the most comprehensive and enjoyable massage, I left for home with a bottle of Daily Microfoliant from Dermalogica, a brand she carries at the lovely spa’s boutique. She also carries many other brands she trusts and has worked with for years, including a makeup line. Kaffee is an encyclopedia of knowledge in regards to the skin. I trust her and really value her advice; it has worked so well for me.
So, that was it! Spa October was a very relaxing success for me and I’m glad I got to meet Kaffee and her staff. The month isn’t over yet, so go ahead and take care of this great opportunity to get pampered for less and support a great cause.
A collaboration with Kaffee’s Garden Spa.
